Job Responsibilities:
• Operational Planning: Plan and coordinate integrated cyber operations, including training, exercises, and support activities.
• Network Administration: Provide support for network development, deployment, and issue resolution.
• Cyber Exercises and Operations: Support large-scale cyber exercises and both defensive and offensive cyber operations.
• Cyber Range Expertise: Collaborate with cyber operators to provide expertise in cyber ranges, enabling DCO and OCO operations for Cyber Command.
• Training Event Design: Translate training and mission rehearsal goals into actionable environments and support cyber range training event design and execution.
• Technical Expertise: Offer expertise in architecture, virtual environments, networking, authentication, and system security, while coaching junior technical staff.
• Continuous Improvement: Focus on process improvement across training events and collaborate with stakeholders on requirement changes impacting the training environment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in information technology or similar, with eight or more years of relevant experience (additional experience may substitute for a degree).
• Joint Event Life Cycle Knowledge: Familiarity with the 5 stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JETC) as it relates to training events.
• Network Expertise: Proficient in Network Hardware Design and Configuration, Troubleshooting, and Performance Tuning.
• Operating Systems and Protocols: Experience with Linux and Windows, network administration, and various networking protocols/functions (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP, DNS).
• Network Configuration: Skilled in configuring, managing, and implementing network access control lists and Cisco switching/WAN/LAN technologies.
• Virtual Networking and Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with MS Active Directory, VMWare NSX-T, security monitoring platforms (such as Security Onion or Splunk), Red Hat Identity Management, and commercial cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• Security and Certifications: Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI, and relevant IAT Level II/III certifications (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CISSP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with configuring network devices utilizing Python and Ansible.
- Experience with enterprise network management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Smartnet, Splunk, or similar technologies.
- Experience with MS Exchange and Edge Transport servers.
- Knowledge of routing protocols, such as BGP & OSPF, and route maps.
- Experience with DNS servers to include queries, mail exchange and name records.
- Four or more years of experience with cyber training and cyber operations.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
