Description
Leidos Security's Crisis and Emergency Management (CEM) Team located in Reston, VA manages response to disruptive events or emergency situations, enabling the company to react and recover quickly and effectively. The CEM Team is seeking a Senior Global Security Analyst with previous crisis and/or emergency management and threat analysis experience to track/monitor, assess/analyze, and manage response to active and potential threats, events, incidents, and crises via multiple tools; support duty of care and personnel accountability responsibilities; and prepare advisory messages to help ensure the safety and security of Leidos' global workforce, sites, and assets located in and outside the continental US.

Serve as an active member, and on an as needed basis the leader, of the CEM team, utilizing expert knowledge and applying advanced principles and concepts of emergency preparedness, crisis management, and critical event response in daily monitoring and assessment of global threats to Leidos employees, sites, and assets.
Develop and review standard operating procedures and playbooks to ensure they remain relevant and up-to-date and implement process improvements based on lessons learned and best practices.
Coordinate, design, and implement emergency management exercises for use by the CEM Team or as part of larger tabletop exercises or cross-functional capabilities testing, including evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of the exercises.
Technical aptitude with threat platforms, specifically, the ability to fully utilize all aspects of the Everbridge Saas product, including the visualization tool and capabilities, mass notification tool, templates, and messaging.
Draft and disseminate communications and notifications to Leidos' leaders and employees and prepare situation and after-action reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution with 8+ years of relevant experience in the field of crisis or emergency management or preparedness or a masters degree in a related field with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of emergency preparedness best practices and the National Incident Management System, the National Response Framework, and the Incident Command System.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience briefing and writing emergency communications for executives.
Completion of crisis management and/or FEMA certifications or coursework.
Proven experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure within very tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented, creative thinker with the ability to create strategy and solve complex problems.
The ability to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed during a crisis.
Full command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
In-depth working knowledge of the Everbridge platform, specifically the Everbridge Suite and Visual Command Center.
Working knowledge of the Dataminr platform.
Experience creating executive level reports.
Experience as the security/site liaison to local, state, and federal law enforcement and first responders.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
