Leidos' Integrated Airborne Solutions currently has an opening for a Field Service Representative to work in our Bridgewater, Virginia office. This role will be responsible for supporting equipment integration, configuration and testing efforts across multiple platforms and programs.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

  • Perform aircraft integration efforts per established processes and procedures.
  • Maintain accountability of tooling and consumables in accordance with Repair Station and AS9100D requirements throughout assembly process.
  • Install, configure, integrate, troubleshoot, and manage tactical radio communications suites and associated network and cryptographic equipment deployed.
  • Design, monitor, manage, and troubleshoot internal and external networks to the enclave to include encryptors and firewalls.
  • Generate, configure and troubleshoot platform network topology per platform layout and operations.
  • Submission and tracking of engineering documentation by drawing analysis, failure diagnosis and documentation submission as required.
  • Perform In-Process Quality Control Inspections on equipment, materiel fabrication or integration.
  • Perform initial sensor system startup function checks and operational analysis as required.
  • Maintain systems and develop preventative maintenance schedules/procedures and conduct periodic maintenance.
  • Additional duties as needed may include maintaining computer IT systems, routers, switches, cabling, desktop hardware, routine event logs, and sheet metal fabrication/alteration.

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience. Additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge in Aviation maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Experience with Aircraft integration / modification.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and/or non-regular hours with minimal notice.
  • Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active A&P Certification. Prior military Quality Control experience can be used in-lieu of certification.
  • Background in aircraft avionics, communication systems and cabling fabrication or repair.
  • Experience with VHF/UHF/SatCom radio systems (KOR-24, PRC-117, PRC-152, PRC-167, Vortex ARC-231 a plus), radio networks (Link-16, BFT/FBCB2), cryptographic equipment, keying data transfer devices (DTDs), IP networking and sub-netting.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Active SECRET clearance.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
