Description
Leidos is seeking a Chief Architect for a 150+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as Sponsor's IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Chief Architect supports existing systems and provides the guidance to build new technologies. Will lead the teams through the planning, organizing, development and delivery of capabilities for the Sponsor's mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains Technical Roadmaps to support customer Mission Requirements
- Develops and communicates technical strategies in support of customer Mission Requirements
- Identifies and communicates Innovations and new concepts to enhance operational systems
- Collaborates across organizational Divisions on technical architecture concepts and implementation patterns
- Designing technical solutions to meet technical and business needs by leveraging knowledge of programming languages, architecture, and technology to support requirements
- Employs practices to improve collaboration between development and operations teams; this includes continuous integration and delivery, automation, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
- Creates comprehensive technical solutions that address mission needs or optimize processes.
- Ensure designs are compatible with the architecture and allocated requirements to Organizational Divisions
- Address user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, requirements allocation, and interfaced definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Identify system integrity issues and solutions for the full system life cycles from concept to disposal
- Integrate systems and services
- Summarize and communicate results
- Support the development, documentation, and execution of system policies
- Works to achieve key project/program objectives and deliverables.
- Works to influence project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
- Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.

Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Requires a Master's degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have experience with IdAM / ICAM delivery systems, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes,
• Entitlement Management and Digital Policy Management
• Must have experience with security accreditation process
• Must have experience with the Cloud / Amazon Web Services
Desired Qualifications
• Security +, ITIL, Amazon Web Services Certification (any)
• May possess a Doctorate in technical domain
- Experience with the Sponsor's security accreditation process
• Solutions Architect Certification or designation (Leidos or external)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
