Capture Support Analyst - Defense and Intel IT

Description

Leidos is seeking a Capture Support Analyst to support the business development and capture activities of our Defense & Intel IT business area. This position works directly with business development leads and capture managers on qualifying and capturing identified opportunities within the Defense & Intel IT customer base, enabling Leidos to increase new business awards and reach into customer markets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform market research to support assigned captures by performing an analysis of customer budget and buying patterns, customer needs/capability requirements, customer preferences, competitive landscape, and incumbent strengths and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate closely with capture teams to manage and schedule key aspects of the capture lifecycle, from gate reviews to proposal submission.
  • Manage the Win Plan review process to include strategy workshops, opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration sessions, proposal reviews.
  • Assist the BD and Capture team with opportunity updates in the Customer Relationship Management tool.
  • Assist the BD and Capture team with weekly and monthly status updates to the management team.
  • Provide input on streamlining/automating processes where applicable.
  • Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred in related technical field, and 0-2 years in a business development or a capture support position (additional education, training or experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Leadership skills to develop, organize and support significant capture activities.
  • Self-starter and ability to manage time independently without direct supervision.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and proposal development tools.
  • Ability to collaborate and gain internal support; operate independently with limited supervision and feedback; and establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, division managers, and peers across Leidos.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate/Power BI is highly desirable.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
