Located at Leidos Corporate HQ in Reston, VA, this role offers the ability to travel, allowing you to engage directly with our teams and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Drive Business Success: Ensure the Fed Civ IT Business Area meets financial and operational targets by defining and setting both long-term and short-term objectives aligned with our overall company goals.
- Operational Excellence: Manage daily internal operations and functions, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and develop strong relationships with Division P&L leaders and functional teams (e.g., Finance, HR, Engineering, Contracts, Global Supply Chain, Talent Acquisition, Growth, Program Excellence, Sub-Contracts) to enhance collaboration and performance.
- Execute Strategy: Collaborate with business area leaders and senior technical staff to develop actionable strategy plans that drive our initiatives forward.
- Communications Leadership: Plan, execute, and manage internal and external communications initiatives, ensuring key messages are effectively conveyed.
- Support Executive Leadership: Work closely with the Fed Civ IT Business Area Manager to create impactful presentations, speeches, and internal communications.
- Project Management: Oversee miscellaneous projects aligned with Business Area and Sector priorities, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Problem-Solving Leadership: Lead initiatives to address challenges affecting programs within the Fed Civ IT Business Area.
- Review Participation: Contribute to program execution reviews, capture process reviews, and proposal color reviews to ensure high standards and successful outcomes.
- Proposal Development: Assist in capturing and writing proposals as required, supporting our growth and success.
Who You Are
- Experienced Leader: You bring a proven track record in personnel leadership, collaboration, executive communication, political acumen, and relationship-building.
- Contract Management Expertise: You have significant experience in successful contract and program management, with a history of leading teams or projects to success.
- Government Contracting Knowledge: Your deep understanding of the government contracting industry is a key asset.
- Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 13+ years of experience. Additional related experience, training, or certifications may substitute for formal education.
- Security Clearance: You are able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Willingness to Travel: You are prepared to travel as needed to meet business demands.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
