Description
The Business Administrator provides administrative and organizational coordination and support through undertaking a range of administration duties for the Leidos Teams located in Alice Springs. This position will support the multiple Leidos programs in AUS providing administrative functions across all teams in terms of general administrative and organizational duties and responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the weekly Team Leader meeting updating the Leidos Site Manager on all payroll, personnel tracking, leave and general administrative issues.
- Manage the Leidos personnel trackers and coordinate with relevant local contract leads & the Leidos Site Manager to review and sign off updates.
- Manage all processes related to PCS and TDY of Leidos employees. Including but not limited to: tracking VISAs, medical and Psych evaluation clearances, and local site leadership concurrence.
- Track all on-site employment requirements levied by government leadership and ensure Leidos employees remain within tolerance. Including but not limited to clearance, med/psych suitability, and visas.
- Provide assistance to Leidos site employees with expense reporting and provide subject matter expertise on allowable expenses and benefits for each contract.
- Fill as the main Leidos Point of Contact on administrative issues, track completion of admin shortfalls and liaise with relevant Leidos offices to resolve any administrative issues.
- Engage with site leadership for special trips, like PM visits and VIP visits and meetings with USG and GOA personnel. Arrange meetings, airport pick up, accommodation, and any special
- gatherings or team activities.
- Manage new employee induction checklist and ensure all new employees are fully inducted as per the checklist
- Maintaining awareness of and competence in headquarters communication and information sharing initiatives
- Communicate administrative updates and changes to Leidos employees at site.
- Maintain and update Human resources standard operating procedure
- Collaborate with Corporate HR and Program Managers to reach out to and share information with new employees coming to JDFPG. Send out information of importance for things like housing, schools, community news, etc... before arrival.

Basic Qualifications
- Requires Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience or years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and written skills
- Ability to work in a team environment; interacting with a range of federal and contractor staff
- Experience with computer software, including the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance with a Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in support of a staff at a large corporation or military command
- General knowledge of IT and government terminology
- SAP experience (2 years)
