We are in search of an Audio Visual (A/V) Engineer to support an enterprise IT program within the Intelligence Community. In this role you will utilize your in-depth knowledge, experience, and best practices to improve products or services. The position requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas.

In this role you will:
- Attend customer meetings and conduct site surveys,
- Translate customer requirements into functional system designs,
- Understand architectural/construction drawings and documentation,
- Design and engineer complex audio/video/VTC systems, to include providing floor plans and elevations,
- Create engineering, programming and installation labor estimates,
- Configure and test Audio/Video systems.
- Will not have supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance for integration and/or installation teams.
Clearance Required:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant A/V experience, additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Basic understanding of IP technologies.
- Experience working with A/V switching systems.
- Experience working with commercial audio and demonstrated understanding of audio theory, signal flow and gain staging).
- Experience with DSP technology, including DANTE.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite to include Visio and Power Point.
- Ability to communicate and interact professionally with colleagues, project stakeholders and the client.
- Understanding industry best practices in audio, video and control systems design/integration for conference rooms, operation center watch floors, training rooms, and VIP offices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to assess customer needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Must demonstrate ability to thrive and succeed in a challenging environment.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to interact with individuals from all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal education in Electronics or related field
- AVIXA Certified Technical Specialist (CTS)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
