Description
Leidos is seeking a degreed Architect to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team to provide architectural support for FAA Terminal facilities in the Eastern Service Area.
Building enclosure experience is required
Located in College Park, GA
Up to 50% travel
Architect Primary Responsibilities:
- Review construction documents including architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals relative to the building enclosure for FAA Terminal facilities (Air Traffic Control Tower, Terminal Radar Approach Control facilities, etc.).
- Perform remedial roof and envelope design for existing facilities.
- Conduct system surveys and oversee field tests.
- Engage in Building Enclosure Commissioning and prepare technical reports.
- Generate layouts, manage project timelines, and coordinate with teams.
- Produce AutoCAD drawings, manage project risks, and monitor progress.

Architect Basic Qualifications:
- Architecture degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in building enclosures and proficient in computer modeling.
- Knowledge of BIM and relevant building codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and AutoCAD/Revit.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Architect Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior relevant FAA experience.
- Highrise experience.
Training: Recommendations for project management and safety training may be provided.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
