Description
The Applications Support Lead will be responsible for leading and managing multiple technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. The Application Support Lead is responsible for managing a team of developers designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom software applications for the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple technology projects, including the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ability to lead the staff in application development efforts using Microsoft Project or client specified formats for milestone tracking and project status.
- Design and develop custom software applications that meet the organization's specific business needs and requirements.
- Test and debug software applications to ensure that they are free of errors and meet the organization's standards.
- Maintain and update software applications as needed to ensure their continued effectiveness.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams. Work closely with the organization's IT and business teams to ensure that software applications are aligned with the organization's technology needs and are effective in supporting the organization's operations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, including new programming languages and software development tools, and make recommendations for adopting new technologies as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for software applications, including user manuals, technical specifications, and design documents.
- Provide support to end-users as needed, troubleshooting issues, and resolving technical problems.
- Participate in scrums with other IT members, business owners and stakeholders keeping them aware of progress and upcoming tasks.

Basic Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred with 10 years development experience.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, with experience in multiple programming languages and development tools. Experience with developing specific computer code, design and development of intranet sites.
Technical Knowledge: Strong technical background, with expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++, or C#, and experience with development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Visual Studio. Web and desktop application development skills are desired. Experience developing with .Net and Microsoft SharePoint are desired.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Leadership: Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and direct cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Budget Management: Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
Project Management: Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, with experience in leading and managing IT development projects.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues related to the IT infrastructure.
Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Microsoft Certifications, and Project Management Professional (PMP), are highly desirable.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
