Description

The Security Enterprise Solutions Operation is seeking a leader to serve as an in-country General Manager (GM) in support of Asia Pacific based activities, while maintaining a high standard of corporate ethics and values. This position will provide leadership and management across existing programs with a focus on execution within Asia Pacific. The GM will manage Leidos and subcontractor personnel to meet the needs of all customers. The GM will significantly contribute to streamlining the business rhythms as well as drive performance to operation plans, goals, and objectives. The GM position is located in Singapore.

The GM will perform the following roles and responsibilities:
• The general manager is responsible for all program control and program office activities, including customer relationships, frequent collaboration with customer stakeholders, all external program business rhythms, having strong budget and schedule management skills

• This role entails overall responsibility for the installation, management and operations of field services within an international government with responsibilities for ensuring the secure and smooth movement of people and goods across the nation's international border and airports.
• The general manager communicates critical and time sensitive program-related information directly to the Leidos Business Area and Division-level Management.
• Ensures the contractual and financial health of the program while assuring high customer satisfaction with overall service delivery and contractual performance
• Establishes trust in the scale, security, speed and integrity of Leidos service delivery capabilities
• Maintain a strong partnership relationship with Leidos infrastructure and support elements
• Help to identify potential corporate risk areas within the business, develop mitigation strategies, monitor risk, and collaborate with other Leidos leaders to manage risks
• Assist in all aspects of staffing and people management in the Asia Pacific - recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation and improvement, assignments, retention, engagement, and career development
• Contribute to the growth and financial success of the Asia Pacific business through capture of new opportunities and re-competes/expansion of existing programs
• Work to identify areas of on-contract growth in existing programs and drive additional capabilities
• Remain cognizant of relevant industry and Leidos best practices and trends to ensure that programs and activities incorporate effective, efficient approaches
• Exemplify the highest standards of personal and professional integrity in every aspect of our business

Basic Qualifications

Travel will be required to the customers in country primary locations and other customer stakeholder locations.
• Fluent written and verbal communicator in English in public sector IT settings
• Over 10 years of Program Management experience leading programs >$50 to $500M USD
• Business development familiarity with Government contracting office and customer stakeholders
• Proactive, superior attention to detail and good organizational skills with business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, reliability and sound judgment
• Experience with various contract types, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, task order management, prime contract flow-downs and performance-based contracting
• Strong customer focus

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or ability to obtain prior to proposal submission
• 5+ years Program Management experience leading programs >$500M
• Ability to support Leidos proposal pursuit, build relationship with key customers/stakeholders and local partners/vendors
• Willingness and desire to invest time in coaching and mentoring others

Monthly salary target will be SGD 23,000 - to 27,000 monthly depending on experience and background.
