The Leidos Military & Veterans Health Solutions Group is sourcing candidates (both counselors and supervisors) for our PACAF Adolescent Support and Counseling Services (ASACS) program. This program implements a community-based adolescent support and counseling program for the adolescent dependents of U.S. Service members at U.S Military installations in the Pacific Rim. The essential clinical services include assessment, early intervention, and counseling services for adolescents and their families for AOD and other behavioral health risk factors. The essential prevention and education aspect of the role includes classroom education for adolescents, in-service training to community agencies, community education, screening for and facilitation of prevention support groups for youth from high-risk environments and participation in community awareness campaigns. Length of initial assignment is 3 years, followed by options to renew annually for the duration of the contract.

Candidate MUST possess a valid State Clinical License - LCSW at the independent level OR Ph.D/Psy.D. Clinical Psychologist or equivalent independent state counseling license. (Any US State)
Primary Responsibilities
Counselor Duties Include:
- Developing and implementing a community-based adolescent substance abuse prevention and treatment program
- Interfacing and networking with military branches and the community to identify adolescents in need of services
- Supporting family quality of life by offering individual, group and family counseling
- Intake, screening, assessment, and management of case load
- Provide AOD training and specialized education on a variety of topics
- Treatment planning, discharge, records management, and continuing care planning for caseload
- Participation in quality assurance
- Case record management and documentation
- Securing and maintaining written referral agreements with all community agencies and briefing referral agencies about the ASACS program
Qualifications (Counselor):
- Master's degree from an accredited university (Council of Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accredited)
- Valid State Clinical License - LCSW at the independent level OR Ph.D/Psy.D. Clinical Psychologist or equivalent independent state counseling license.
- Two (2+) years of supervised post graduate counseling experience working with an adolescent population. Two (2+) years of experience in treatment of adolescent substance abuse
- The possession of or eligibility for a state or national alcohol and drug counseling (AOD) certification
- Candidates must be creative and skilled in prevention education, community referral agreements, and program marketing
- Possess intermediate competency with word processing, using simple databases/email systems and managing files electronically
- Must hold a current US driver's license and be eligible to obtain a US military ID card, credentialling at military hospital and approval by client
- Acquire favorable results on Federal Background Investigation
- Knowledge of risk management and program development experience is a plus.
Qualifications (Clinical Supervisor):
- Three additional years direct adolescent AOD prevention and treatment experience
- Two years of clinical experience as an ASACS counselor

Pay Range:
Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
