Description

The NISC IV Training Group (NTG) within the Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking an experienced Administrative Professional to join the team in Washington, DC, providing support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

As an Executive Administrative Assistant, you will support the FAA's AIR Operations Support Branch for administrative needs. In this role, you will manage office calendars and all travel arrangements. Additional administrative needs across the team will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide office administrative support to include calendar management and scheduling appointments for the team and/or management.
  • Maintain office files, records, and logs showing the status of actions and correspondence.
  • Arrange, confirm, and finalize travel arrangements/reservations (i.e., airfare, lodging, rental car, or similar types of reservations) along with meal and incidental expense (M&IE).
  • Prepare, write, and edit correspondence and other documentation such as letters, emails, and memorandums.
  • Create briefing books and presentations for the staff using Microsoft Office software systems.
  • Provide supply management support to include tracking supply levels, and compiling requests from team for office supplies.
  • Process outgoing mail using the FAA mailroom and check for incoming mail on a weekly basis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Solid interpersonal skills (oral & written)
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking priorities and strong self-motivation skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form to individuals at different organizational levels.
  • Strong writing, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, large engineering organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with different schedules and requirements.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting FAA or other Federal Government agencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
  • Previous experience booking travel.

Clearance Required:

  • Public Trust clearance - (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years.)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
