JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) will be responsible for managing guard service functions and security related operations in a geographic region within the client's North American footprint. The RAM will have direct supervision and resolution capabilities for all Portfolio Managers (PM) assigned to them. The RAM will provide conflict resolution for the client in all instances of scheduling, staffing, billing, training, and other client related requirements and needs. The RAM will, at the direction of the client, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and other metrics used to track and enhance performance. The RAM will have operational authority of the Global Account Manager (GAM) to ensure that the client's expectations and needs are met in a timely and efficient manner as described in the contract. Specifically, situations involving the local Branch Management's decisions. The RAM will work with the proprietary Regional Security Managers, to ensure that the client's requirements, needs and essential security functions are met. The RAM should not perform uniformed security functions, except under extraordinary circumstances or in an emergency. The Regional Account Managers are contractors and will be sponsored by the Director of Global Physical Security-North America for the client. The Regional Account Managers will report directly to the Global Account Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
The functions listed describe the business purpose of this position. Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately. The Regional Account Manager (RAM) might or might not be required to perform all the listed functions. Additional duties may and can be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.
All duties or tasks assigned are deemed to be part of the essential functions, unless such duties or tasks are unrelated to the functions listed, in which case they are deemed to be other (non-essential) functions.
The RAM will be held accountable for a successful job performance. Job performance standards may be documented separately, and may include functions, objectives, duties, and / or tasks not specifically listed herein.
In performing functions, duties, or tasks, the RAM is required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of all company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. The RAM is required to notify superiors or authorized representatives immediately upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions.
All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and to be performed in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of the company or client's policies, the RAM is required to request clarification or explanation from superiors, the client, or their authorized representatives.
Directs or completes tasks associated with these areas of responsibilities:
1) Serves as a key point of contact for the client to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for the assigned account/region; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary communication and / or corrective action in a timely manner to the client's designated representative.
2) Coordinates with and acts as liaison for the Global Accounts Manager (GAM) to ensure that the client receives the highest level of service. Implements programs, initiatives, and plans as directed by the client or the GAM.
3) It is the RAM's responsibility to stay informed of any of the client's requests, changes, and /or directions. Furthermore, it will be the RAM's responsibility to inform the GAM.
4) Develops and implements training for Portfolio Managers (PM), Supervisors and Security Officers as directed or required by the client, Securitas, or by regulatory or compliance requirements.
5) The RAM's will be responsible for ensuring that all training is received, tracked, and documented as required by both the client and other legal compliance or regulatory requirements.
6) Develops and identifies metrics and benchmarking indicators that can be used to enhance and improve performance of the contract security guard force.
7) Implements key performance measures, tracking tools, scorecards, and reporting methods in cooperation with the clients designated representative and managers to improve performance and effectiveness.
8) Initiates, coordinates, and aids the GAM with the responsibility of benchmarking and the identification of cost saving practices throughout the client's account.
9) Oversees, supervises, and coordinates the PM's schedules, assignments, and other operational considerations.
10) Creates, populates, updates, and maintains an online tool dashboard tool for the client to track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), other metrics, and benchmark data.
11) Works with the client to write, revise, update, and amend post orders for the clients North American sites.
12) Creates and populates, updates, and maintains and ensure unfettered access to an online central repository for the clients post orders, policies, procedures, and initiatives for North America.
13) Coordinates the client's requirements for staffing by exercising the GAM's authority when dealing with regional offices and local branches to ensure that the client's expectations are met in a professional and timely manner.
14) Resolves issues, conflicts, and administers adjudication of discipline for subordinates as directed by the GAM or Human Resources (HR) of Securitas.
15) Acts as the principal point of contact for the client's Regional Managers and Global Director of Physical Security for issues such as but not limited to; bill and pay rates, invoicing, uniforms, equipment, staffing, post orders, policy and procedures and training.
16) Reviews, tracks, and resolves errors with invoices. Tracks and identifies client credits and adjust them accordingly to the client's account.
17) Identifies and communicates to the client's initiatives and concepts that may result in cost savings through effective management distribution of guard force and other resources.
18) Routinely meets with the client's Regional Managers and Global Director of Physical Security to ensure open lines of communication are maintained to discuss emerging risks, issues, disputes, training, and other matters of interest.
19) RAM's will work with the clients Regional Security Managers and Global Director of Physical Security North America to ensure that all budget related data is provided in a timely manner upon request of the client.
20) RAM's may attend the quarterly budget /business reviews upon obtaining prior authorization from the clients Director of Physical Security North America.
21) RAM's must notify in advance, the clients Director of Physical Security North America, one month prior to any travel and receives written authorization prior to booking travel for the client to fund travel.
22) Maintains a positive environment in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; acts to ensure that the clients contracted guard force members and management understand and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
23) Builds and facilitates teamwork and partnership with the client for the implementation of progressive change.
24) Performs additional functions, duties, and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as directed to achieve the client's goals and objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
Education/Experience:
The best candidate should have an associate degree and 5 years of experience, or 8 years equivalent experience in a security or business management position. Certain exceptions may be made for candidates with an equivalent combination of education, professional certification and experience in similar functions and positions. The final determination will be determined by the client and Securitas. Candidates that are honorably discharged veterans from any U.S. Military or government service or those with prior law enforcement are desirable. Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to interpret, track, and maintain schedules, metrics, and other performance and cost indicators.
• Knowledge of budgeting and budget practices.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism when dealing with unusual circumstances.
• Ability to use a computer and certain software such as but not limited to; Excel spread sheets, Word, PowerPoint or like products.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment or assignments.
• Ability to carry out multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to track and effectively lead projects and project teams.
• Strong customer service skills and values.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
