Job Summary


Manages program supervisors/coordinators to ensure that a high quality service is delivered to Rushford’s clients and is consistent with each program’s specific goals and objectives. Responsible for overall operation of programs of oversight and is accountable for the delivery of efficient, quality care to all Rushford clients


Job Description



  1. Analyzes Program needs and develops recommended meaningful goals and objectives that align with the organization’s strategic goals. Prioritizes, eliminates impediments, and resolves problems to ensure care, treatment and services are fluid, evidence based and client centered.  Establishes performance measures/expectations, identifies and recommends improvement opportunities.

  2. Direct supervision of program coordinators. 

  3. Manages program’s established financial and staffing budgets. Uses resources to achieve the goals and objectives of the departments within established budgets by determining future needs, monitoring actual progress, and allocating resources to meet a changing environment.

  4. Oversees positive customer service relationships by identifying customers and their needs, educating costumers’ needs are met, responding appropriately to difficult interactions, and educating staff members on quality customer service.

  5. Participates in all program/system meetings on an ongoing basis as appropriate.  Collaborates with community leaders and leadership within organization.

  6. Ensures programs of oversight meet standards set by governing bodies, including Dept of Mental Health & Addiction Services (DMHAS), Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB), Dept Children & Families (DCF), Dept Public Health (DPH), and Joint Commission.

  7. Provides feedback to director in regards to grant applications, as appropriate.

Qualifications


  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Related Field

  • Requires current CT licensure as one of the following: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC

  • Minimum of 4 years’ supervisory/administrative experience in clinical work in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or related field

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.  Proficient in Microsoft programs.  Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
