Job Title: Sr. IT Specialist
Job Description:
Build, test, implement, and support technical solutions for existing and new EDI interfaces on a distributed Sterling B2B Integrator platform with an emphasis on Quality Assurance (QA). These include interfaces with internal LabCorp systems, Laboratory Corporate Billing System (LCBS), Labcorp Lab Systems, and external Supply Chain vendors. Candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and process oriented. A high level of best practice map and business process interface build and testing skill within a well-defined, agile workflow model is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis; define, maintain and organize data; develop/maintain quality repositories to establish and assure interface quality data integrity for Quality Assurance
- Review/verify requirements and ensure project deliverables comply with implementation requirements
- Provides technical support to project team members and participates in all related project discussions
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and requirements and deliver user interface designs and expectations
- Promote continuous improvement

Qualifications and Skills
- Sterling B2B Integrator v5.x (SFG/SBI/ITX-A)
- Demonstrated SBI platform engineering skills capable of assessing platform health and recommending/performing optimization tasks, particularly in a QA environment
- Distributed Platforms (VM/RHEL/Linux, AIX)
- B2B Partner Configurations and related X12Deenvelope process and X12Envelope subprocesses
- Business process development/optimization
- Experience with sFTP, FTPs, FTP, AS2/3, HTTPs, TCP/IP, and VAN communications protocols
- WTX execution engine integration on an SBI platform
- Perl, KORN SHELL, BPML, HL7, REXX, XPATH, Unix Scripting, XML, XLST
- HIPAA transaction structure knowledge and experience - 835, 837, 999, 270, 271,277
- ASC/X12 transaction structure knowledge and experience - 850, 855, 810, 820, 997, 999
- Relational Database concepts
- Analysis, design, EDI software implementation, pre & post-production support, testing, training and project management
- Strong detail orientation with proven analytical and organizational skills, coupled with the ability to effectively communicate, both written and orally, with all levels of management
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive schedules
- Exceptional team player with professional work ethic; demonstrates ability to build relationships with both internal and external Clients
- PC proficient and a confident user of Microsoft Office Suite of applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field

- Current or previous Labcorp experience preferred

Pay Range:52,200-90,000
