Labcorp is recruiting a Solutions Manager, HR Tech - Workday Core HCM for a dynamic team. This position can potentially be Remote based.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Seeking a skilled and experienced Solutions Manager to collaborate in a fast-paced environment across the enterprise to deploy, maintain, and ensure the reliability of our core HR application and lead Workday integration activities for employees being onboarded through acquisition. The overall objective of this role is to lead research, analysis, design and implementation of configuration to enhance employee and manager experience. This role will support and drive the implementation of new functionality and enhancements by understanding end user needs, developing business and functional requirements, building streamlined and effective processes, supporting technical design, testing and deployment to provide a best-in-class user experience. You will partner across functional business teams, translating complex business needs to effective solution design recommendations, ensuring data, configuring and security meet requirements. This role will leverage your deep functional expertise to understand process and systems requirements and contribute to the development, testing and deployment activities for HCM Core as part of the Labcorp HR Tech Team.

- Demonstrate technical expertise and understanding of functional HR processes to act as authority and owner for Workday HCM configuration
- Act as Tier 3 support to global business users and HR to include: troubleshooting system issues, defect resolution, maintaining system structure data, assisting with ad-hoc reporting requests, and administering cyclical related processes
- Use creative problem-solving skills to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, recommend scalable and simple solution(s) based on evaluation of best courses of action then design, configure, and test changes while managing and promoting the changes through the appropriate Agile sprint and change processes
- Support feature releases working with other support teams to define scope, prioritize, plan, identify test scenarios & develop scripts, and provide key support in regression analysis and systems integration testing.
- Document requirements and technical specifications to support our HCM solution landscape
- End-to-end project management including developing project charters, creating and owning project plans and ensure adherence to project schedule and other specifications through a delivery-focused mindset, high energy and drive and the ability to achieve results through others
- Manage the technical integration of newly acquired companies into Workday by leading Workday activities that support setup including worker data entry for newly acquired populations and all onboarding, system access and related processes.
- Work with M&A Team Project Manager to develop Workday portion of overall M&A Project Plans.
- Attend regular meetings for each M&A project to hear updates from the business side and provide input and collaborate with business for best solution/approach for any new or non-standard requirements.
- Maintain and enhance the M&A playbook for explicit instructions on how to perform all activities associated with Workday M&A preparation and data loading including checklist(s) of activities and specific work instructions.
- Ensure that the system remains compliant with relevant data protection and security regulations, such as GDPR or CPRA, follow all SOX controls, and implement best practices in data management
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Business Administration, HR or related field or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of experience in executing projects and technical support of Workday. Must have deep knowledge of Workday HCM Core.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday HCM PRO certification preferred
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of downstream integrations to gauge impact of changes, triage and remedy incidents and/or scope level of effort for new initiatives.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills - able to translate between technical and business groups, bring forward a vision or opinion
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with ability to design and develop solutions to meet business needs creatively
- Comfort with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Expertise in agile software development methodologies and their adoption within teams (Jira/Confluence experience helpful)

Pay Range: $83,265 - $135,442/yr
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
