Title: Software Engineering Internship
Company Overview:
At Labcorp, we provide real-world experience by working on assignments in a team atmosphere which furthers an education in STEM and Healthcare disciplines. Our interns have the opportunity to showcase their work by demonstrating their achievements to their supervisors, their mentors, and our senior management team. Each intern will participate in group projects that illustrate their creativity and build on their technical teamwork skills.

About the Team:
- The Software Engineering Department at the Protedyne subsidiary of Labcorp develops smarter, faster robots to optimize efficiency in Labcorp's diagnostic testing laboratories across the world. The team is responsible for all levels of software management, from device firmware, industrial automation and robotics control through user interfaces, remote monitoring and database management.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proficient in using software development IDEs (e.g., VSCode, Eclipse) and familiar with key development practices, including compiling, executing, and testing code. Skilled in writing clean, functional, and object-oriented code.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, or Assembly. Familiarity with full stack web development, robotics, firmware development, UI development, or working with large data models is a plus.
- Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
- Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
