Labcorp is recruiting for an experienced IT professional for the role of Programmer Analyst. This individual will be part of Health Systems Operating Division supporting laboratory partnerships and acquisitions and will collaborate with IT, vendor, business, laboratory operations, and partnership stakeholders to ensure successful support of the various 3rd party systems used in client locations. The individual will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Laboratory IT and workflow, Laboratory operations and the ability to learn complex processes and technology quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a member of the Laboratory Applications team
- Contributes to the development and support of all 3rd party applications used in conjunction with the LIS/EMR
- Performs application administration tasks for variety of computerized systems
- Forms productive networks with internal and external customers and the vendor community
- Conducts diagnosis of most business problems
- Prepares and leads meetings at an appropriate cadence; uses excellent verbal and written communication
- Partners with operations leaders to identify site-specific resolutions and changes.
- Plans and manages the configuration of any required changes.
- Documents lessons learned to ensure ongoing success with future initiatives.
- Forms productive networks with internal and external customers and the vendor community
- Provides on call support for production systems

Education and Qualifications:
- An AA (Associate of Arts) or AS (Associate of Science) degree is required.
- 5+ years of IT experience supporting and troubleshooting in a multi-facility environment.
- Laboratory clinical experience is strongly recommended.
- Point of Care administration experience is strongly recommended.
- Server administration experience preferred
- A solid understanding of the Laboratory industry and Laboratory workflows
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to translate abstract information into a consumable format.
- Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred
