We are currently seeking a Pathology Administrative Assistant for a position at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's in Milwaukee, WI.
In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, in a fast-paced Pathology office environment. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-530pm.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare case conferences for the pathologists
- Tracking and owning all pathology send out work
- Transcribes codes
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of computers, word processing software and dictation equipment
- Proficiency with numbers
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Maintain cooperative work relationships with internal and external customers
- Research information
- Time management skills
- Answer phones
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a clinical lab setting highly preferred
- Must have previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Previous data entry and/or administrative experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical terminology training preferred
