Labcorp is hiring a Lab Systems Technician. This person will be responsible for the overall Lab Systems and IT support of the Holyoke lab. This will include supporting instrument interfaces, LIS, and IT infrastructure. Support will be onsite in Holyoke as well as remote support of other labs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Onsite support in Holyoke, MA lab and remote support of other labs and throughout the Northeast division.
- Setup and support users in the LCLS, LCWS, PROC, RLI, and SIS systems.
- Setup and support of all lab interface projects and after go-live support including equipment and software.
- Setup and support of all lab end to end testing and after go-live support including hardware and software.
- Coordinating and working with vendors, Corporate IT, IT Security, and the lab for instrument installs and setup.
- Special department projects.
- Support all security Initiatives.
- Support and implementation of all end-of-life products or equipment upgrades initiatives.
- Escalate tickets and requests to Tier 2 or Tier 3 teams as needed.
- Review and resolve requests and/or issues from ticket queue.
- Assist with training new employees and new hire hardware and software setup.
- Comply with all safety procedures and protocols.
- Administrative and clerical duties.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to be onsite daily at the Holyoke, MA lab location as this is not a remote or hybrid position.
- Prior experience in a laboratory environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT position.
- Experience using Labcorp IT systems including SIS, LCLS and LCWS is preferred.
- Previous experience utilizing and supporting an LIS software.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed.
EDUCATION
- Associate's degree in Medical Technology or Computer Science.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- IT Certifications are plus; A+, MCP, Network+.
