Global Internship Program:

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2025 Global Internship Program as a Labcorp Oncology Intern in a US-based fully-remote position.

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. In addition to department work, we support your professional development and career exploration through program workshops, leadership speakers, employee resource group introductions, new hire panel discussions and small group "coffee chats".

About the Team:

We are seeking a motivated Intern to join our Medical Affairs team within the Oncology division of Labcorp. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment, working on projects that support our mission in delivering world-class diagnostic solutions to improve health and improve lives of the patients with cancer.

This is a remote position.

Labcorp Oncology team is committed to providing innovative solutions that enhance cancer care and support clinicians in making informed treatment decisions. Over the last 25 years, Labcorp has played a historic role in launching some of the hallmark diagnostic testing for the treatment of cancer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and review of scientific materials, including presentations, brochures, and educational content related to Labcorp Oncology diagnostics.
  • Conduct literature reviews on cancer treatment and diagnostic testing and present recent updates in molecular diagnostics and treatments related to a select cancer type of interest to the team at a monthly research meeting.
  • Collaborate and engage in research projects with Medical Affairs team members, with leading one project to completion (i.e. abstract, review article, original research manuscript)
  • Familiarize yourself and engage in discussions with internal stakeholders on Labcorp Oncology diagnostics portfolio
  • Attend molecular tumor board meetings to understand multidisciplinary approaches to cancer diagnosis and management.
  • Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your networking and professional presence.

Education/Qualification/Skills:

  • Preferably, pursuing a master's or graduate degree in health sciences. However, open to someone pursuing bachelor's degree in life sciences field such as Biology, Chemistry, Pre-Med, Pre-Pharm, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion and motivation to learn about cancer-related topics and healthcare innovation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with diverse stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Pay Range: $19-$22

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
