Job responsibilities include:
- Routine decalcification, processing, embedding, microtomy and re-embedding of human tissue specimens from patients enrolled in clinical trials
- Automated and manual staining (ImmunoHistoChemistry, FISH, etc...)
- Maintain proper storage conditions and traceability of Histology blocks and slides (stained and unstained)
- Perform slide scanning as required and according to protocols
- Prepare workstation, instrumentation and maintenance on instruments and/or equipment daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
- Reagents, material and supplies monitoring
- Adhere to safety and occupational health policies and standards

What we're looking for
Histology Technicians are the most successful at Labcorp with:
- A minimum of 6-month previous experience in histology laboratory
- Experience in FISH interpretation is a plus
- Medical Technologist degree (CFC holder, BTS, DUT, IUT Degree holder) or Pharmaceutical Biology Technologist (CFC holder)
- Fluency in French
- Ability to adequately maintain accurate records and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
