LabCorp is seeking a Facilities and Inventory Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This position will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders of medical lab supplies and products.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to monitor and address facility cleanliness and safety
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Perform routine safety checks for eye wash, safety showers and fire extinguishers
- Act as point of contact for vendors with recurring facility services, rags and mats, eye wash and fire extinguisher inspections, first aid and PPE re-stocking etc
- Reconcile inventory variances
- Collaborate with stakeholders regarding inventory data, and recommend opportunities for standardization or improvement
- Place orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephone
- Receive and process stock into inventory management system
- Resolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely
- Maintain inventory control according to company standards
- Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous medical or production experience is a plus
- Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills including MS Excel
- Strong verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
