The Customer Marketing team develops campaigns across the buyer's journey with the key objective of increasing awareness and driving demand for Labcorp's full portfolio of products and services across diagnostics and drug development. Labcorp is seeking a Director of Customer Marketing to lead a team of customer marketers responsible for our global marketing campaigns supporting the oncology portfolio for diagnostics and biopharma services. This key role will focus on orchestrating the execution of our global integrated marketing programs, assist in directing our agency and channel partner relationships, and ensure our sales teams are enabled with the right tools to effectively leverage our marketing programs.

Campaign Strategy
- Deliver brand experience, voice, and visuals across all marketing channels
- Collaborate with the Product Marketing to understand business goals and strategies, market sizing and product positioning
- Create and execute campaign plans that deliver results aligned to business goals across prioritized audiences and geographies
- Work with both digital, events, and other teams to identify and define strategies to support the brand awareness and demand generation needs of our global business
Campaign Execution
- Orchestrate delivery of campaign plans to ensure alignment with marketing plan
- Manage campaign and annual marketing plan calendar & timelines
- Lead tactic sequencing and prioritization, project management
- Guide content strategy and messaging architecture across all marketing channels (media, web, email, sales, events, etc.)
- Manage audience marketing budget spend (media, agencies, creative, etc.) appropriately by aligning tactical plans with leadership's strategic priorities
- Leverage data insights and analytics reporting to optimize campaign strategies for continuous improvement of results generated from marketing spend and tactical efforts
Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead recurring meeting cadence with Product Marketing to align on focus area's campaign and annual marketing strategy, timelines, address roadblocks
- Work across organizational structures gracefully, including marketing team, sales and operations to guide decision making
- Apply journey-development strategies in partnership with Growth & Insights and Product Marketing teams to target the right message to the right person at the right time
Analytics and Reporting
- Understand customer and market insights, personas and apply within campaign strategies
- Partner with Solution Marketing to define target audience and segmentation refinement
- Define campaign metrics and analyze performance to monitor and optimize channel and tactical execution
- Track campaign performance of global programs and provide feedback to the business to optimize effectiveness of future campaigns
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Science, or Business
- Master's degree a strong plus
- 7-10+ years prior work experience in marketing with 5+ years leading a team of direct reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specific expertise in marketing life sciences and/or diagnostics in global markets desirable
- Experience supporting the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including content strategy and analytics
- Understanding of the digital marketing technology landscape and best practices
- Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRMs (i.e., Salesforce, Eloqua)
- Copywriting and editing a plus

- A self-starter with a see it/own it/do it mentality who can work both independently and with a team, be highly adaptable and flexible with an ability to change direction when needed and clearly communicate such change in a timely and visible fashion
- Capable of setting strategic vision, omni-channel approach for audience and/or therapeutic area
- Leading content and channel strategy & optimization with key stakeholders and business
- Leading an expanded scope of audiences, including emerging business areas
- Leading a team of direct reports while continuously guiding and developing talent
- Demonstrated success working within a global, matrixed team environment (eg. EMEA and APAC).
- You will be an organized, time and project manager to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- You will have strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of business and process excellence
- You'll consistently maintain a positive attitude, a sense of urgency and be ok navigating your teams through change
- You will have the ability to effectively support the orchestration of a cross-functional team to develop, execute and optimize integrated marketing campaigns.
- Additionally, you will have the ability to build an internal network and effectively interact with people at all levels; have solid presentation skills to influence and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and follow up on multiple project tasks
- Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills

Pay Range: $117,100K - $176,610K/yr
