Position Summary
This role is responsible for the QC reviewing of analytical chemistry data. This role will be data review 75%-100% of the time on multiple data packets in a fast-paced environment. There is a possible opportunity to be in the lab performing analytical chemistry (HPLC, UV/VIS spectrophotometry) work in addition to the review work.
Candidates given best consideration will have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience with QC review work
- Experience with HPLC and UV/VIS spectrophotometry
- Experience with GLP regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask/be efficient in a fast-paced environment

The essential job duties are:
- Performs QC review of data.
- Organizes and conducts routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines
- Documents work and maintains study documentation and laboratory records
- Evaluates data for report preparation and experiment modification as directed.
- Plans individual workload in coordination with team member
- Assists in writing text for reports, methods or protocols
- Provides input and participates in project meetings, plans, monitors and guides project work
- Informs Study Director, Principal Investigator and/or management of any problems and/or deviations that may affect the integrity of the data and participates in corrective action of problems
- Assists in setting up and performing method development and validation of various analytes in a variety of matrices
- Participates in process improvement initiatives
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's in chemistry strongly preferred or Life Sciences degree
- GLP experience is preferred
- HPLC and UV/VIS spectrophotometry preferred
- Experience with QC review
