The Role
Kyndryl is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join the team for the new Kyndryl Institute brand activation. This role involves working on a variety of digital experiences, including digital journeys, biweekly, monthly, and biannual digital publications, digital prototypes, website and app design/development, as well as ongoing maintenance and updates. Additionally, the UI/UX Designer will have the opportunity to contribute to other brand projects.

In this role, the UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing and developing user experiences across various digital platforms. This includes creating content-driven applications, websites, and digital magazines that provide an exceptional user experience. The designer will work closely with stakeholders to document requirements and guidelines, ensuring that all projects meet the necessary standards and expectations.
Collaboration is key in this position, as the UI/UX Designer will work iteratively and collaboratively with user researchers, UX designers, UX writers, and developers. This collaborative approach ensures that the final product is both functional and visually appealing. The designer will be expected to set a high bar for usability, functionality, and visual appeal, crafting exceptional user experiences that delight users.
Finally, the UI/UX Designer must execute their tasks flawlessly, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in every aspect of their work.

Who You Are
Required Skills and expertise
- 5+ years experience in modern UX/UI design
- Experience with HTML and CSS a plus
- Holistic and user centered perspective
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, app design and development.
- Extensive experience with Figma and prototyping tools is required
- Bachelor's Degree in design-related field
Preferred experience
- Portfolio with examples of work, process, and results
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is -
$107,400 to $204,000 based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $118,200 to $244,920
Colorado: $107,400 to $204,000
New York City: $128,880 to $244,920
Washington: $118,200 to $224,520
Washington DC:$118,200 to $224,520
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
