Key Responsibilities:

• Perform backup and recovery of customer data in distributed or cloud environments.
• Operate and maintain backup and recovery systems, including data protection servers.
• Implement, administer, and configure backup servers, media servers, and tape libraries.
• Participate in disaster recovery exercises, planning, and execution.
• Assess backup environments to identify pain points and translate them into opportunities for improvement.
• Lead teams to manage, protect, and recover customer data as business demands.
• Perform problem diagnosis and root cause analysis.
• Apply knowledge of automation and analytics tools to improve backup processes.
• Ensure compliance with data protection policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional experience
• Proven experience in backup and recovery operations in distributed or cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of backup technologies, including physical and virtual tape libraries, data protection APIs, and cloud containers.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve backup-related issues.
• Familiarity with automation and analytics tools for backup processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in cloud resiliency orchestration and disaster recovery technologies.
• Experience with Kyndryl's Infrastructure Recovery Solutions.
• Knowledge of business continuity and recovery services.

Certifications:

• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• VMware vSphere 8 Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) (2V0-21.23)
• Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate (200-201)
