We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Security Program Director to support our security and resiliency services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of new business projects, supporting growth through the introduction of innovative technologies, and integrating major workstreams to optimize resource usage. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of security operations and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

As a Program Manager, you have the ability to break down a strategic vision into discrete interconnected projects, each one delivering its own critical component to realize the vision. As the interface for the project managers leading each interconnected project, your choices will have a resounding impact across projects and secure successful program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management

  • Provide strategic leadership over teams responsible for critical work items, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee staffing, hardware, and software requirements (both capex and opex) to support project timelines and budgets.
  • Integrate multiple practices, including security, network, application development, and work closely with finance and operations teams to secure necessary resources.

Project Management

  • Lead the transition and resiliency services for new business implementations, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Develop and manage workstreams to enhance maturity, identify areas for improvement, and streamline processes for efficient security service implementation.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery dates are met while maintaining cost control across all activities.

Customer Relations and Transition Execution

  • Support customer-related transition execution, ensuring client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their security requirements.

Metrics and Business Outcomes

  • Develop and utilize metrics to measure business outcomes and the effectiveness of security operations.
  • Regularly report on project status, performance metrics, and business impact to senior management.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $146,040 to $277,320 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $160,680 to $332,760

Colorado: $146,040 to $277,320

New York City: $175,080 to $332,760

Washington: $160,680 to $305,160

Washington DC:$160,680 to $305,160

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 7 years experience in Cyber Security, Cloud, Risk Management, or IT Infrastructure
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects or programs, preferably in a services business, with experience of working with customers across multiple project phases, industries and geographies
  • Strong understanding of security operations, project management methodologies, and resource allocation
  • Expertise in cost & scope management, change control, and overall project governance
  • Experience in identifying and tracking dependent tasks across projects, proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to dependencies, and guiding effective staffing choices to leverage expertise and/or knowledge between projects
  • Proficiency with establishing program governance and management systems, managing interdependencies of various projects to develop a master schedule, cost benefit assessment and trade-off decisions, and asset and resource prioritization
  • Knowledge of business intelligence, data analysis, dashboards, business intelligence reporting, business metrics, and operational reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic agile environment, adapting to changing priorities while remaining outcome focused
  • Able to travel up to 25% globally as needed

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Project Management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) or PgMP (Program Management Professional)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices
  • Relevant security certifications are highly desirable
