The Role

Intesa SpA, a company belonging to the Kyndryl group, as part of its path of growth and positioning as an accelerator of digital transformation projects, is looking for a Senior Manager profile for the Financial Services sales department, a key role in the development of the company's positioning strategy and sales team.

The position, which is part of the existing sales structure, will operate primarily from a Milan base and national transfers indicatively on the Milan-Rome axis, due to the geographical location of the clients. Profiles with previous experience in the consulting area or who have worked on digital transformation projects aimed, in particular, at companies operating in the sector will be considered and assessed.

The candidate must have gained 8 years' experience in the sales area, at leading information technology or service companies, innovative, digital companies, consulting companies, companies specialising in BPO or similar. Ability and previous experience in managing sales structures is required.

We are looking for a person with in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of managing complex projects at clients in the sector (banks and finance, service centres, insurance companies) and the ability to manage people as a people manager.

Role objectives

  • Ensure the achievement of the corporate objectives assigned to the relevant sales department (signing, revenue and gp).
  • Develop Intesa's presence in the financial services sector, in alignment with assigned objectives, through client development and management, directly and through coordination of team resources.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders (including C-Level) and build long-term relationships with customers, building their loyalty to the company.
  • Generate sales opportunities and strategic projects by fostering the proper involvement of pre-sales structures and technical areas.
  • Ensuring that commercial offers and contracts are drawn up according to company standards, with care for administrative and regulatory aspects and constant supervision of the orders to be activated.
  • Managing the flow of information on ongoing negotiations with transparency and clarity, with one's own manager and with the general management, through the use and constant updating of company information tools.
  • Monitor commercial negotiations and the end-to-end sales process.
  • Identifying the manifest and latent needs of the players in the reference sector with appropriate addressing of needs towards the most correct design and technological solutions.
  • Propose evolutions of the company's offering to favour the improvement of services and the development of innovative solutions to better serve customers.

Minimum requirements

  • Degree in engineering, computer science, economics or science subjects.
  • Experience in selling IT services of at least 8 years and knowledge of the sector; candidates with previous experience in consulting will be given more consideration.
  • Understanding of the core processes of companies operating in the Banking and Services sector, both nationally and internationally.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (minimum B2, C1 recommended).
  • Availability for frequent travel to clients and partners.
