In this role, you won't just be another advisor; you will be a trusted ally and visionary, delivering unique and differentiated value to our customers. Through captivating show-and-tell methods such as engaging demos and compelling presentations, you will showcase our credibility and eminence in the industry, leaving a lasting impression on potential customers.
As a vital member of our team, you will support Consulting, Advisory, and Architecture activities across Sales, Pre-Sales & Delivery, collaborating closely with Customer Partners and Kyndryl Consult Partners. With your extensive technical knowledge and mastery of the practice-specific domain, you will bring together the breadth of Kyndryl's expertise to develop profitable deals that drive our success.
Key Competencies required of Role:
Apps Domain Knowledge
- Maintain deep knowledge of major application domains including SAP, Oracle, Mainframe, and custom applications
-Provide expert guidance on application-specific challenges and opportunities
- Leverage domain expertise to create tailored solutions and value propositions for clients
Business Strategy
• Contribute to the development and execution of the company's AMS growth strategy
• Identify new market opportunities and potential service offerings
• Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform business decisions
Propose and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
Pre-Sales Support
• Engage with potential clients to understand their application management needs
• Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to gather requirements
• Develop and present compelling value propositions for AMS offerings
Solution Design
• Architect comprehensive AMS solutions tailored to client requirements
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solution feasibility and excellence
• Incorporate industry best practices and innovative approaches in solution design
Proposal Development
• Lead the creation of high-quality technical proposals and RFP responses
• Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with finance teams
• Create presentation materials for client pitches
Internal Enablement
• Conduct training sessions for sales and delivery teams on AMS offerings
• Develop reusable assets and templates to improve efficiency in solutioning
Market Intelligence
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
• Provide insights to shape the company's AMS strategy and service portfolio
Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor on application management strategies
Cross-Country Collaboration
• Work effectively with teams across different countries and time zones
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across global delivery centers
• Align local capabilities with global service offerings
As a strategic thinker, you will identify the intricate business and technical requirements of our customers, leveraging the vast capabilities of Kyndryl to generate winning cross-practice solutions. Your ability to develop and deliver compelling demonstrations, proof of concepts, and prototypes will clearly demonstrate the tangible value our offerings bring to our customers, leaving them eager to partner with us.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also take the lead in coordinating the entire pre-sales process, ensuring quality and compliance verification while adhering to Kyndryl best practices. Your collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will generate winning responses and create optimal technical solutions. Moreover, you will actively build and nurture relationships with our external alliance partners, fostering a collaborative environment where joint solutions are co-created.

Required Skills and Experience
- 15+ years of experience in IT consulting, with a focus on application services
- Extensive knowledge of major application domains including SAP, Oracle, Mainframe, and custom application development
- Strong understanding of various application technologies (ERP, CRM, Mainframe, DBMS, Web Technologies, Cloud Platforms, Integration & Middleware, BI& Analytics, CMS, Custom Development, Mobile App Platforms, DevSecOps & Emerging Technologies)
- Proven track record in pre-sales activities and solution design for large-scale AMS engagements
- Knowledge of multiple industries and their specific application management challenges (BFSI, Retail, Manufacturing & Telecom)
