The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Senior Consultant to lead the development of service for an Kyndryl customer.

This role will be pivotal in shaping and managing the application-related aspects of SAP Basis services and projects, with a focus on SAP R/3, SAP S/4, and preparing for the transition to SAP Rise.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of databases such as DB2, MAXDB, Sybase, HANA, and Oracle, along with expertise in operating systems like AIX, SLES, Windows, and Red Hat. Your role will involve designing the technical and architectural frameworks of managed applications while ensuring they align with commercial objectives and cost-efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Tasks:

  • Installation and configuration of SAP systems
  • System monitoring, monitoring, and performance analysis
  • Patch Management
  • SAP Hana Administration
  • Implementation of upgrades, backups, and installation of patches
  • Troubleshooting
  • Process automation
  • Knowhow about following SAP modules: ERP, HCM, HR; SRM, S/4 HANA, TREX, SAP Data Service Agent, Content server, Opentext, SAP BW/4HANA, Smart Data Integration SDI, Business Objects, Solution Manager, ADS, SAP Router S4, Cloud Connector, SAP Cloud Agent, Global Trade System, Manufacturing Integr. & Intel., SAP Plant Connectivity

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Technical support for SAP key users
  • Support of SAP Basis projects
  • Security and Compliance
  • Documentation

Who You Are

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Collaboration with other IT departments to integrate SAP systems into applications or platforms
  • Change Management activities
  • Agile Work Ethic: Proven experience working in agile environments with a results-oriented approach.
  • Industry Expertise: Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams, driving accountability and results.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Certified Senior Architect: Proven experience and certifications in Managed Applications architecture, primarily within SAP environments.
  • Hands-On SAP Experience: Expertise in SAP R/3, S/4, and Cloud platforms, ensuring up-to-date technical insights.
  • Database & OS Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP-related databases (DB2, HANA, Sybase, Oracle) and operating systems (AIX, SLES, Windows, Red Hat).
  • Project Management Proficiency: Experience leading large-scale, complex SAP projects from concept to delivery.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English (C1 level or higher in German).

The minimum yearly salary suitable for this full-time role as an SAP Basis Senior Technician is €69.020,00. Your actual salary will be discussed in a personal interview, taking into account your professional experience as well as qualifications and educational background.
