The Role

You'll be a troubleshooter extraordinaire, diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, software, and systems with ease. Nothing will be too challenging for you to solve as you respond to escalated issues, report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs.

You'll be the go-to person for our customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, as well as for customer installations and training. With your passion for technology, you'll provide world-class support that exceeds customer expectations.

As Network Engineer you'll perform varying degrees of problem determination and resolution expertise and available resources to ensure that our customers' issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

You will develop a deep understanding of the local and regional infrastructure, as well as key contacts in other competencies, which will enable you to ensure that the proper team is aware of - and taking action on the problem.

Responsibilities:

  • Environment Monitoring: Monitor client environments daily and manage alerts to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Daily Operations: Handle day-to-day tickets and support, participate in on-call rotation, and maintain documentation.
  • Troubleshooting & Fault Analysis: Diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
  • Network Diagnostics: Conduct thorough network diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to both internal and external parties, including customers.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively across teams and countries on various topics.
  • Service Improvement: Continuously work on improving services.
  • Incident Management: Act as the contact point for overall stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English: Strong command of the English language.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Monitoring Tools Expertise: Experience in using monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, ScienceLogic, and LogicMonitor, as well as expertise in monitoring devices, including firewalls, using protocols such as SNMP, WMI, and others.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience supporting client network environments with client-facing responsibilities.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for network devices.
  • Tool Knowledge: Basic knowledge of tools like NetBrain, Infoblox, Cisco TACACS, and Bitwarden.

Preferaable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience working with firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other network services
  • Cisco CCNP or higher certification preferred or any other network certification
