Required Technical and Professional Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a MongoDB DBA.
• Proficiency in MongoDB administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) options, and ops manager administration.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in MongoDB database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions such as query optimization, index tuning.
• Proficiency in MongoDB security features and best practices for securing MongoDB databases.
• Implement and manage database security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption, to protect sensitive data.
• Monitor and troubleshoot MongoDB database issues, including performance bottlenecks, query optimization, and replication problems.
• Proactively tune database configurations and queries to enhance efficiency.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Manage and maintain MongoDB databases in production, test, and development environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide guidance on data modeling and database design.
• Implement and maintain MongoDB database clusters, including replica sets and sharded clusters, ensuring data distribution and fault tolerance.
• Oversee database health, performance, availability, and security.
• Perform database installations, configurations, and patching in accordance with company standards.
• Deploy MongoDB databases using MongoDB ops manager.
• Upgrade MongoDB versions using Ops manager.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
• Support database migrations and upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal impact on users.
