The Role

We are hiring a Lead, Corporate Security Aviation Specialist to meet the demands of a rapidly growing organization. This role will oversee executive travel and expense policies, vendor negotiations, and high-touch executive travel support while driving reporting and process efficiencies. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring travel arrangements, reporting, communication and vendor management.

This role is preferred to be in New York (Rye Brook) in a hybrid work model.

Essential Skills, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as back-up to the primary Aviation lead: Provide support and assume responsibilities in the absence of the primary Aviation lead.
  • Global Travel Management: Assist with travel requests for both domestic and international trips, ensuring all travel arrangements are efficiently managed.
  • Executive Travel Support: Deliver high-touch, customized travel support for executives, VIPs, and key stakeholders. Ensure a seamless, stress-free travel experience by managing complex itineraries and addressing any travel-related issues in real-time.
  • Traveler Support & Communication: Proactively communicate travel program changes, updates, and guidelines to employees. Ensure a positive travel experience through excellent customer service and timely problem resolution.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and lead a high-performing team to execute travel and expense program initiatives. Foster strong relationships across the organization, ensuring alignment and buy-in for travel initiatives.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate vendor relations, including aircraft security, Fixed Based Operators at the airports, fuel, food prep, etc. as needed.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting: Manage process documentation and desk procedures for Aviation operations responsibilities. Review and reconcile monthly invoices from various suppliers. Track flight activity, maintain trip reports and logs, and create trip reports.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all internal and external travel policies and regulations. Monitor changes in global travel regulations and make necessary adjustments to company policies. Oversee duty-of-care responsibilities, ensuring employee safety and security during travel.

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Proven experience leading teams and managing high-touch executive travel support and flight plans
  • Experience with Part 91 flight operations
  • Experienced with flight following and monitoring the status of all planned flights and flights in progress from the point of origin to destination
  • Experienced in passenger logistics, ensuring that passengers ground transportation, catering and other travel requests
  • Proficient in travel management software and tools
  • Familiarity with global travel regulations and duty of care practices
  • Knowledge of travel risk management and safety protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure cost-effective travel solutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and executives
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and be proactive
  • Flexible, able to deal with change

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Preferred, FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) flight dispatcher certificate
  • Experience implementing or managing expense reporting systems

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $74,640 to $141,960 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $82,200 to $170,280

Colorado: $74,640 to $141,960

New York City: $89,640 to $170,280

Washington: $82,200 to $156,240

Washington DC: $82,200 to $156,240

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
