The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming and extensive experience working in an AKS environment. This role requires a deep understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and architectural principles. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality solutions.:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Java frameworks such as Spring, Quarkus, and Maven.
  • Implement and manage microservices architecture on AKS.
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs using Apollo GraphOS/Server/Federation.
  • Work with databases such as SingleStoreDB, SQLServer, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL.
  • Utilize Azure datafactory pipelines, blob containers, and Apache Flink for batch processing in Azure cloud.
  • Manage event streaming using Kafka and Azure Event Hub

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Java Architect or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Java programming language and its ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and architectural principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring, Quarkus, and Maven.
  • Experience with AVS, AKS, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong focus on code quality and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Angular for front-end development.
  • Experience with Azure datafactory pipelines, blob containers, and Apache Flink for batch processing.
