The Role

  • Commercial lawyer with a strong interest in contract drafting and negotiations and be familiar with large scale IT infrastructure contracts.
  • Analyzing and advising on all types of legal matters in connection with IT contracts
  • Negotiating IT contracts as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to show integrity under pressure and balance the requirements of different internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem-solver with an ability to find creative legal solutions to complex issues
  • Hands on and can-do approach
  • Agile with a strong sense of ownership and leadership
  • Strong communication skills and working proficiency (verbal/written) in French and English.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Master of Laws Degree from a French university
  • At least eight years of relevant professional experience as an in-house lawyer or as an attorney at law from a well-renowned law firm
  • Experience with negotiating client agreements in the IT sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience with working in an international team and on English language contracts
  • Full professional proficiency in French and English (C2 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience with different commodity types in the field of IT transactions (e.g., software, hardware, IT services)
  • Additional relevant qualifications or local (French) Bar admission would be considered an advantage
