  • Envisioning, communicating, and evolving an customer organization's enterprise architecture. Able to handle aspects such as organizational structure, business processes and strategies, value streams, data and information, and supporting technologies - and how they fit together and are expected to evolve over time.
  • Understanding business activities and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
  • Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies and IT processes and suggesting improvements
  • Creating business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals
  • Evaluating systems engineering, talent recruiting and accounting models for discrepancies and vulnerabilities
  • Engaging on cross-program and cross-project Architecture strategies, opportunities, and problem resolution
  • Developing, updating and maintenance of the key Enterprise Architecture deliverables.
  • Assuming architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues.
  • Working as infrastructure architect where required.
  • Ensuring conformance and compliance of projects and programs with Architect guidelines. Essentially the "voice of the customer" during development activities.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline. Well versed with enterprise architectural frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) or similar. Experience with agile and DevOps approaches is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of business operations and strategies
  • Thorough knowledge of technology and its applications
  • Experience in designing and implementing technology infrastructure
  • Evaluate the internal business strategies and existing IT processes and architecture
  • Suggest improvements to IT functions, processes, and systems
  • Consult with business units in order to determine their IT requirements
  • Suggest strategies to cut IT costs
  • Create and implement IT strategies to achieve business goals
  • Provide technical support
  • Train and mentor other IT architects
  • Write and revise existing training and technical manuals
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • The capacity to manage and prioritise multiple projects
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or software engineering
