As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, you will work with a process improvement team within the HR Strategy, Services, and Systems team. The ideal candidate will use Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools to ensure operational readiness for analyzing current organizational constructs, critical and core processes and SOP. This role will focus on aligning optimized organizational structures and simplified streamlined processes with end-user needs, facilitating a smooth go-live process, and driving continuous improvements.

Change agent delivering Transformation / Process Improvement collaborating with HR leadership and other business stakeholders to improve Business Metrics and outcomes of HR teams leading critical improvement projects and driving excellence across our operations, expected to explain the change and help with change management across different personas.

  • Project Management: Take ownership of process improvement projects from inception to completion. Develop robust project plans, set milestones, and manage resources to ensure timely delivery. Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track. Ensure that project outcomes meet defined objectives and deliverables
  • Design and implement measurement systems that effectively track key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and other relevant metrics. Ensure that these measurement systems provide actionable insights to support decision-making and improve project outcomes.
  • Operational Readiness: Assess and ensure that all systems, processes, and technology are fully operational and ready for deployment before the go-live date. Conduct readiness reviews, identify potential risks or gaps, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to drive ongoing improvements in customer experience and operational efficiency. Use data and feedback to identify areas for enhancement, develop improvement strategies, and implement changes to continuously refine and optimize processes. Create a culture of continuous improvement in HR teams.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth root cause analysis to address and resolve issues that arise during DDI projects. Utilize problem-solving techniques to identify underlying causes of problems, develop corrective actions, and prevent recurrence. Support or lead efforts to address challenges and implement sustainable solutions.

  • 7 plus years of quality and process improvement experience in HR
  • Black Belt Certified in Lean Six Sigma
  • Good knowledge of various process improvement tools and techniques
  • Proven experience in leading process improvement projects, preferably in a large-scale, complex environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops and kaizen events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, process mapping, and statistical software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong motivator and ability to influence change and drive best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Capability to work under time pressure in a dynamic business environment & ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • This role supports a global team and some meetings may require flexibility of working hours to accommodate timezone differences.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $146,040 to $277,320 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California:$160,680 to $332,760

Colorado: $146,040 to $277,320

New York City: $175,080 to $332,760

Washington: $160,680 to $305,160

Washington DC: $160,680 to $305,160

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
