The Role

DDI/Infoblox Engineer
The Application Delivery engineering team at client is responsible for the engineering and renovation of our global internal & external DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure, as well as our F5 hardware, virtual and software LTM & GTM capability.
Client is embarking on a multi-year program me of consolidation and replacement of our DDI infrastructure leveraging Infoblox.

The team is also responsible for integrating this plant into our centralized self-service configuration management & monitoring systems and delivering plant management automation.
Client is seeking a skilled engineer with DNS and networking knowledge to join our team and contribute to this replatforming initiative.
An experienced engineer with solid technical fundamentals, proven expertise deploying Infoblox products at scale and a passion for automation would be the ideal fit for this role.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

Should have 3 to 4 yrs of experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 4+ years of experience working with Infoblox, including advanced troubleshooting and platform management, implementation new hardware
  • Ability to upgrade firmware, manage Infoblox services, and lead day-to-day platform operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Go-getter attitude with a focus on process improvement, accountability, and communication skills.
  • Base-level knowledge of programming (Python scripts) and familiarity with ServiceNow, Rundeck, or Ansible integrations is a plus.
  • Experience with load balancing environments and automation pipelines is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with engineering large-scale enterprise DDI deployments (preferably Infoblox NIOS, but others like bind, tinydns, ISC dhcpd also relevant)
    A firm understanding of DNS & DHCP protocols and common architectural patterns
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts & protocols at all layers: TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, SSL etc...
  • Experience automating repetitive tasks related to installation, configuration or management of infrastructure using Ansible, Python, shell or other scripting/programming language
  • Comfort working with a Linux-based command line & familiarity with general system administration concepts
  • Cisco Routers: 1900,2800,3800,3900 & ASR
  • Cisco Switches: 3750X,3560X,2960,4500,4900,6500 &
  • DC Networking-ACI, Nexus 2K,5K,7K,9K
  • Good Knowledge and Hands on Static and Dynamic Routing protocol and failover concepts: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRRP, HSRP/static routing. Others: Multicast, DMVPN, Tunnels, IPV6 &IPV4
  • Switching protocols & methodologies: VPC,VDC.OTV,VXLAN,VLANS, Spanning-Tree, VTP, Ether Channel,Stacking,802.1q tagging/trunking, Port Aggregation, Power Over Ethernet (POE), Failover/Fallback of Hardware & Link (High Availability)
  • Security: Network Layer-2 & Layer-3 Security
  • Certifications: INFOBLOX (preferred).
