Through captivating show-and-tell methods such as engaging demos and compelling presentations, you will showcase our credibility and eminence in the industry, leaving a lasting impression on potential customers.
As a vital member of our team, you will support Consulting, Advisory, and Architecture activities across Sales, Pre-Sales & Delivery, collaborating closely with Customer Partners and Kyndryl Consult Partners. As a Core Enterprise Customer Technology Advisor, you will possess strong technical and business acumen, allowing you to provide value-driven solutions within the practice services domain(s). Your exceptional customer-facing skills, combined with your articulate communication style and interpersonal finesse will enable you to effortlessly convey the technical benefits of Kyndryl's capabilities, perfectly matching the unique needs of each customer.
As a strategic thinker, you will identify the intricate business and technical requirements of our customers, leveraging the vast capabilities of Kyndryl to generate winning cross-practice solutions. Your ability to develop and deliver compelling demonstrations, proof of concepts, and prototypes will demonstrate the tangible value our offerings bring to our customers, leaving them eager to partner with us.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also take the lead in coordinating the entire pre-sales process, ensuring quality and compliance verification while adhering to Kyndryl's best practices. Required Skills and Experience
- As a consultative, technical member of the Core Enterprise and Z Practice GTM team, the Core Enterprise Customer Technology Advisor will lead in collecting, validating, vetting with customer the deal-specific technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop initial technical solution strategy for capturing/driving Core Enterprise and Z/Digital Transformation-oriented professional services/capabilities (Advisory/Implementation and Management Services alike).
- Develop non-binding indicative estimate (NBIE) solution proposals to include cost cases to be priced, draft deployment timelines, technical/operational dependencies, draft architecture.
- Apply technical and competitive insights specific to Kyndryl's Core Enterprise and Z Practice professional services (also understand MicroFocus, AWS, Azure, GCP, but also Mainframe Modernisation solution engineering/ collaboration/partnering concepts).
- Apply and continuously develop knowledge in the technical domain areas they're responsible for in the context of Kyndryl's public/private/hybrid and Mainframe Modernisation [IBMz IBMi] go-to-market strategies.
- Develop/maintain end-client, business/channels/alliance partner relationships within their technical/alliance communities.
- Advise/write when needed technical/operational/consulting elements of contracts/SOWs in RE: the given technical/business/outcomes-oriented scope, integration points, and architectural ramifications.
- Possesses strong financial acumen and ability to build/propose complete business cases which close with clients' controllers/CFO
- Executive presence, ability to present face-to-face to CxOs, board rooms mid-size to large audiences.
- Perform/execute: client-facing meetings, RFP oral presentations, quarterly business reviews at client sites, and conduct hands-on solution / Core Enterprise and Z modernisation/implementation-oriented demonstrations.
- Has already and continuously attains industry-appropriate technical /consulting certifications based on their domain area; i.e. AWS and/or Azure and/or GCP technical certifications.
- Has already and continuously attains industry-appropriate technical /consulting certifications based on their domain area; i.e. Mainframe Modernisation technical certifications.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of the last 5 years as a Core Enterprise and Z/Digital Transformation consultative Tech Sales / Sales Engineering experience.
- Ability to lead in collecting, validating, vetting with customers the deal-specific technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to develop/write and present to end customers high-quality Core Enterprise and Z Transformational solutions, solution strategies including project completion criteria, dependencies full business case.
- Ability to develop non-binding indicative estimate (NBIE) solution proposals to include cost cases/work breakdown structures to be priced, draft deployment timelines, technical/operational dependencies, draft architecture, outcomes and related KPIs.
- Strong understanding of competitive insights specific to the Core Enterprise and Z Consulting marketplace.
- Minimum 3 years of the last 5 years, strong experience in performing/executing: client-facing meetings, RFP oral presentations, quarterly business reviews toward with clients; billability.
- Repeated successful experience in conducting project/process demonstrations, project walk-troughs with customers.
- AWS, and/or Azure, and/or GCP technical certification is a must (at least 1 of the 3).
- Strong understanding of containers/container management.
- Strong understanding of [IBMz IBMi]-native DevOps tools.
- Strong understanding of HA and data security concepts in a public [IBMz IBMi] / hybrid [IBMz IBMi] operating environment.
- Strong understanding of automation techniques, tools, products (e.g. Ansible) and the role of automating in driving effective IT operations.
- Strong understanding of application modernisation concepts.
- Required client-related travel up to 50-70%.
