The Role

Kyndryl's professional services arm, Kyndryl Consult, is seeking an experienced Consult Partner to help drive exceptional customer IT outcomes in the manufacturing, retail and transport sectors. This role involves guiding clients through digital transformation, reducing risk, delivering operational excellence, and solving mission-critical challenges. Leveraging Kyndryl's global strengths and leading technology capabilities across our Global Practices (Cloud, Mainframe, Networking and Edge, Data & Application, Security & Resilience, and Digital Workplace), the Consult Partner will play a crucial role in multi-disciplinary teams on complex consulting engagements. The candidate will be accountable for creating and positioning value on Kyndryl's largest accounts and opportunities.

The successful candidate will have exposure to senior leaders both internally and within client organizations in a dynamic environment. This role focuses on the manufacturing, retail and transport sectors, with a preference for candidates who are local to the Quebec Market.

The Consult Partner will be responsible for proposing, closing, and delivering customized client engagements that provide valuable assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for technologies and platforms across the Kyndryl Consult portfolio. This will drive a modernization agenda for clients, ensuring they stay ahead in the competitive market.

In addition, the Consult Partner will develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders. They will work on developing a pipeline and originating deals with C-level clients, leading pursuit teams, and contributing to the proposal development and negotiation process. This will ensure that client needs are met and business opportunities are maximized.

The Consult Partner will also team with existing account team leadership to facilitate account planning. This collaboration will help in aligning strategies and ensuring that client engagements are well-coordinated and effective.

Furthermore, the Consult Partner will bring deep industry-centric technical thought leadership, sharing success stories and points of view on IT modernization. This expertise will help clients understand the value of modernizing their IT infrastructure and adopting new technologies.

Finally, the Consult Partner will identify land-and-expand opportunities by leveraging consulting entry points to drive larger transformational programs. This approach will help in expanding the scope of engagements and delivering greater value to clients.

Who You Are

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • 10+ years of experience and a proven track record in IT Consulting or IT Management Consulting with regional or global consulting firms (Big 5 or boutiques) with delivery and business development success.
  • Industry experience in the manufacturing, retail and transport sectors.
  • Established history combining consulting, sales, and delivery; experience delivering workshops, assessments, strategies, roadmaps, designs, and deployment plans.
  • Demonstrated record of creating & executing client transformation programs to drive strategies, optimization, and modernization.
  • Track record of developing and expanding client relationships with an executive focus; proven ability to present strategic content and drive transformation across a broad range of stakeholders (executive, tech, etc.).
  • Differentiated industry expertise in manufacturing, retail and transport sectors with depth across technology trends, challenges, solutions, market dynamics, competition, and peer group activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to shape large complex deals across the Kyndryl Practices portfolio (e.g., Cloud, Applications, Data/AI, Network & Edge).

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with Statement of Work / Contract development, iteration, refinement, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Development of business cases with return-on-investment analysis.
  • Deep experience working with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) across large optimization solutions.
  • Understanding of modern engineering (e.g., agile, cloud native) and operations (e.g., observability).

Language Requirement:

The candidate must be bilingual in English and French.

This position requires the employee to work on a regular basis with Kyndryl stakeholders located in other Canadian provinces, the United States, or internationally where English is the common language, making knowledge of the English language a requirement for this position in addition to fluency in French.
