The Role

The Communications Lead, Thought Leadership will support the Communications team in planning, development, and execution of internal and external communications strategies within Kyndryl Consult, with a particular focus on thought leadership and eminence. This individual will work closely with the Corporate Affairs team, Kyndryl Consult leadership, and will contribute broadly to the goals of cultivating an engaged workforce and building and protecting the company's reputation among key stakeholders. This position reports to the Director of Thought Leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and Execution: Support the development and implementation of internal and external communications plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze communications metrics: Measure the effectiveness of the team's efforts.
  • Editorial Calendar Development: Build and maintain an editorial calendar for social media that amplifies consulting insights, showcases leadership expertise, and engages target audiences.
  • Content Creation and Management: Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to develop compelling, insight-driven content, including social media posts, owned media articles, and external thought leadership pieces.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Kyndryl Consult senior leaders to identify emerging trends, develop key messages, and amplify their voices in the market.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor the impact of thought leadership initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to enhance engagement and effectiveness.

Who You Are

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:

  • Minimum of 3+ years in thought leadership, content strategy, or editorial roles, preferably in a tech or consulting environment.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to craft executive-level content.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, editorial processes, and media relations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing multiple projects.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Build editorial calendar.
  • Project management skills.

Compensation

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $74,640 to $141,960 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $82,200 to $170,280

Colorado: $74,640 to $141,960

New York City: $89,640 to $170,280

Washington: $82,200 to $156,240

Washington DC: $82,200 to $156,240

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
