The Role

The Communications Advisor for Kyndryl Canada will support the Communications team in planning, development, and execution of internal and external communications strategies within the country. This individual will work closely with the global Corporate Affairs team, local leaders and subject matter experts, as well as external partners, and will contribute broadly to the goals of cultivating an engaged workforce and building and protecting the company's reputation among key stakeholders. This position reports to the Communications Leader in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of internal and external communications plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze communications metrics to measure the effectiveness of the team's efforts.

Internal communications:

  • Create compelling content, including business updates and announcements, leader blogs, newsletters, videos and more.
  • Manage the Canada SharePoint site and other communications channels.
  • Coordinate and support the planning and execution of events, including town halls, webinars, and other employee engagement activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of content for all-employee meetings, including presentations.
  • List management and distribution.

External communications:

  • Work closely with internal subject matter experts, customer partners and Kyndryl's PR agency to identify and create Canada storylines.
  • Coordinate media inquiries and interview requests and assist with preparing spokespeople briefs for interviews.
  • Support local social media efforts, including monitoring and generating content.
  • Monitor Kyndryl and market media coverage, identify opportunities.
  • Support CSR-related activities.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with SharePoint, graphic design and video editing software a plus.
  • Fluency in French an asset.
