The Role

Your Roles & Responsibilities

As Cloud Data Architect - AWS, you are expected to be strong in design and architecture of AWS based data platform and Bigdata ecosystem including AWS cloud native services, Hadoop, NO SQL and building data pipelines. As an Architect in our Data and AI team, you will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Pre-Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.

You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading-edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the design of the technical and information architecture for the AWS Data Platform.
  • Design and perform POC where needed and develop Data platform offering.
  • Solid experience and knowledge in the deployment of AWS services and Data pipeline.
  • Optimization and Tuning based on performance metrics.
  • Setup best practices, Standards, Patterns Development and automate process for onboarding.
  • Designs, develops, tests, monitors, manages, and validates Data platform Stack.
  • Coordinates with other stakeholders to ensure overall health and performance of the data platform.
  • Works with end users to translate business questions and requirements into applications that employ the appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assists in monitoring system performance, reliability, availability, and recoverability of the Data platform.
  • Assists in the evaluation, selection, testing, and optimization of Data platform configurations.
  • Develops and applies sound fundamental design, analysis, and data administration concepts, practices, and procedures.

Who You Are

Required Skills:

  • Strong architecture and design experience on AWS data platform and ecosystem
  • Extensive hands-on experience implementing data migration and data processing using AWS services: VPC/SG, EC2, S3, AutoScaling, CloudFormation, LakeFormation, DMS, Kinesis, Kafka, Nifi, CDC processing Redshift, Snowflake, RDS, Aurora, Neptune, DynamoDB, Cloudtrail, CloudWatch, Docker, Lambda, Spark,Glue, Sage Maker, AI/ML, API GW, etc.
  • Strong experience in DevOps, DataOps etc
  • Strong architecture and design experience on Multi-cloud and cloud native platforms
  • Hands on experience in Cloud Data Platform optimization and recommendations
  • Hands-on on experience on implementing robust data pipeline using AWS data stack is must.
  • Hands-on experience in Big Data technologies
  • Hands-on experience in architecture, design, implementation and support of complex Big Data and Data Warehouse based application architectures.
  • End-to-end architecture experience including CI/CD, DevOps, Security, IAM, Monitoring/Observability, etc. tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge and design patterns for of various ML/DL applications (such as Keras, TensorFlow, Python scikit learn and R)
  • Working Knowledge on creating reusable and scalable data pipelines (NiFi, Sqoop, Hive, Java, Pig, Python).
  • DevOps and Agile Development processes
  • 7 to 10 years of industry experience in Client facing architect/consultant roles.
