As a Associate Director, Customer Technology Advisor you will be at the forefront of this ride and get to work with end clients daily. You will be the face of Kyndryl & evangelize the data & AI solutions that we have to offer & contextualize the same for their industries. You will create compelling value proposition and targeted Client & Industry focused content to significantly improve our chances of winning in the marketplace. You will defend Kyndryl solutions and build trust with the client at all levels -operational to executive. You will help drive, qualify & close opportunities. With the support of the broader team within the practice, you will be responsible for the execution and successful delivery of "Advisory/Consulting" assignments focused on broad array of topics within Data & AI domain. You will, with support, from larger team help in delivery of non-consulting assignments from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Help build a thriving practice that's constantly looking for ways to solve client's challenges by using data & AI solutions which have overarching Industry context to it.
- Engage with internal & external customers to position, pitch, defend and build trust in the data/AI solutions & services we have to offer
- Demonstrate Industry specific thought leadership & expertise
- InfuseClient/ Industry specific/aligned content in generic sales & solution pitches, responses, and general marketing content
- Participate in early opportunity identification, provide pre-sales & solution support
- Craft both high-level and detailed design documents and assist in implementation of innovative solutions using the most relevant technologies
- Help translate business requirements into technology requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work.
- Build consulting assets, collaterals, and methods which have differentiated focus on specific industries & use-cases
- Build GTM content and collaterals having differentiated focus on specific industries & use-cases
- Develop usecase(s) storylines and high-level reference architecture(s) specific to industry use-cases and generic patterns aligned to specific industries
- Execute strategy consulting engagement for Advisory services on various topics within the Data & AI domain using industry focussed assessments, assets, and methodologies
- Develop thought leadership content, assets, patterns, methods, architecture & PoV's for data management solutions using Cloud Native technologies for various industries & use-cases
- Take a leadership role on projects demonstrating experience handling projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes running multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Continually learn and grow professionally
- Mentor other consultants to share your knowledge and experience
Who You Are
Required Skills:
- Total of around 16+ years of experience within at least 2 industry segments from below:
- Banking
- Financial Services
- Insurance - Life; Non-Life; Re-insurance only
- BFSI multi-industry expertise
- Neo Finance - Fintech; Regtech; Banking 2.0; InsurTech etc (4-5 yrs exp)
- Healthcare - Payer; Provider; Manufacturer
- Retail - Traditional & Modern; Offline/online
- CPG - Traditional & Modern
- Manufacturing - Capital, Auto, Process, Contract
- Consumer/FMCG - Business Side
- Airlines - Business & Operational
- Hospitality - Business & Operational
- Education & Learning - Digital Models
- Total of around 10+ years of experience of delivering Data Solutions/Applications for clients in above listed industry segments
- Deep functional & process knowledge within at least 4 of the following functional domains within at least 2 of the above listed industry segments:
- Customer Management & Growth
- Sales & Distribution
- Marketing Management
- Supply Chain, Inventory & Procurement
- Human Resources
- Core & Branch Operations
- Manufacturing Operations
- After Market Operations
- Digital Operations
- Broad level knowledge in the following Data Management areas is desirable:
- Deep understanding of industry/functional data structure / data models to design, develop, and delivery various Data based use cases. Designing and building database solutions (industry oriented models, schemas/views/tables / stored procedures / forms / queries / etc.)
- Neo data solutions - broad understanding & knowledge on designing and building industry focused data solutions using newer technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera, Data ISV's like Privacera, Alation etc
- Deep understanding & knowledge on Big Data ecosystem implementation in various industries - common challenges, solutions, patterns, technologies & operational models
- Good knowledge of various Data & Analytics technologies like DWH's; Datalake Solutions; ETL solutions; Governance & Information Management; Compliance & Privacy solutions
- Very strong PoV & knowledge of various Data Governance, Security, Audit, Compliance & Privacy regulations, policies & standards for atleast 2 of the above listed industries
- Understanding of various industry domain & functional usecases driven by data & having a strong PoV around data foundation layer/ecosystem needed to power the same
- Cloud native Data Ecosystem - deep understanding & knowledge on designing and building industry/functional data solutions using cloud PaaS & Cloud Native technologies
- Broad understanding & experience of delivery in at least 3 of the below mentioned Data Management dimensions in an industry context:
- Enterprise Data Strategy, vision & mission
- Data Discovery & Search
- Extraction, Transform, Load
- Data Migration (legacy to modern; on-premises to cloud)
- Persistence & Storage
- Metadata management
- Master Data Management
- Data Quality Engineering
- Data Access control & Security Model
- Privacy, ILM & Lineage
- Data Backup & Resiliency
- Data Operations
- Self-starter who can think outside of the box, and come up with a solution to resolve and mitigate complex problems
- Experience in developing maturity models, TCO & ROI models, AS-IS : TO-BE blueprints, technology analysis, Roadmap design, Implementation plan in context of specific industry/functional segment
- Ability to communicate with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills
- Ability to lead and motivate technical communities
- Ability to effectively recognize and adapt to change
- Ability to quickly grasp customers' business challenges and drive positive change
Preferred skills:
- Experience working in Agile development environment using methodologies like Scrum and tools like JIRA, Confluence etc
- Experience and understanding of the new paradigms like DataOps, Agile Data Delivery; Data Mesh; Data Virtualization; Lakehouse; ELT; Data Federation etc
- Fluency in written and spoken English and local language if applicable. Ability to speak other languages a plus
