The Role

A Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and optimising investment portfolios to achieve the financial objectives of clients or the institution. This role involves analysing market trends, selecting securities, monitoring portfolio performance, and making adjustments to improve returns while minimising risk. The Portfolio Manager works closely with clients to understand their financial needs and develop tailored investment strategies. .

As a trusted advisory, you'll forge strong relationships with our customers, gaining deep insights into their business objectives and long-term aspirations. Armed with this understanding, you'll provide expert guidance on how technology can be leveraged to propel them towards unprecedented success. As capability leader, you will be engaging on the "content" associated with the Service Capability. You will understand and help shape the need for new resources, working closely together with the client PO. You will manage the performance against the expected client value being delivered and agree on continuous improvement actions.
You enable operational excellence, ensuring that the team is working according to the clients Way of Working.
You develop new areas of support in co-creation between Kyndryl and the client and are overall responsible for AWO management with the customer.

You further have the following responsibilities towards the team; nurturing and developing the whole team, execution against the training plan, stimulating innovation and running the HR processes.

Overall you are responsible for the financial performance of your service capability and ensure that Kyndryl remains relevant to the client. You will seek integration and collaboration with the various other teams stretching across all parts of business and locations.

Collaboration will be your cornerstone as you work closely with application architects and development staff to bring your visions to life. Your keen eye for detail will shine as you analyze requirements, meticulously plan design and implementation work, all while adhering to time, cost, and quality targets.

Who You Are

You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important - you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Professional Experience :

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in managing IT operations, customer relationships, and service delivery.
  • Proven experience in managing service capabilities, operational excellence, and working with clients to ensure that performance aligns with expectations.
  • Understanding and experience working within Agile frameworks, specifically the ability to act as an integrator on specific client epics and manage performance against expected client values.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, develop talent, and ensure alignment with organisational methodologies Ways of Working (WoW).
  • Experience in engaging with clients on key deliverables, managing operational expectations, and improving service quality through continuous improvement actions.
  • Experience in forecasting and supplying overall resource requirements for project delivery.
  • Ability to drive and ensure operational excellence by implementing best practices and aligning teams with the customer's expectations.
  • Experience managing Advanced Work Order (AWO) processes and client relationship management.

Preferred Professional Experience:

  • Experience working in a co-creation environment between organisations and clients to develop new areas of support and stimulate innovation.
  • Proven ability to execute training plans and nurture team development, ensuring continuous growth and alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Prior experience acting as a Service Integrator, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • A track record of implementing continuous improvement processes to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
  • Experience in fostering innovation within teams, driving the development of new solutions, and building capabilities that add value to the client's operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools, methodologies, and frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and flexibility in service delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
