Job Summary:

You will join our Kyndryl Consult organization and help deliver Cloud first, Remote first, Digital first solutions at scale and enhance resilience and security for our customers while optimizing costs. As an Amazon Connect Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, configuring, and deploying contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and related AWS services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences, automate workflows, and integrate third-party applications.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Configure and maintain Amazon Connect contact center environments.
Develop and implement call flows, routing strategies, and IVR configurations.
Integrate Amazon Connect with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Polly, CloudWatch, and Lex.
Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Amazon Connect, telephony, and system integrations.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Stay updated with AWS best practices and new features for Amazon Connect.

Who You Are
Preferred Qualifications:
• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Developer, Amazon Connect Communication Specialist, Amazon Connect Developer).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with the Amazon Connect ecosystem including experience with but not limited to AWS Services such as Contact Lens, Amazon Forecasting, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, Outbound Campaigns, Athena, Glue, Comprehend, Transcribe, Kinesis.
• Experience with AI/ML chatbots using Amazon Lex or QnA Bot.
• Knowledge of Amazon Q and building GenAI-based use cases using LLMs such as Bedrock
• Knowledge of telephony concepts (SIP, WebRTC, VoIP).
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
Required Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, QuickSight, and IAM.
• Experience with omnichannel call flow design (routing profiles, queues, callbacks, emergency messages, hours of operations), IVR configurations, and contact center operations including voice, chat, email, SMS integrations
• Basic programming or scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, or Node.js preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD development methodology to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integrations with third-party applications such as CRMs, ITSMs, Salesforce, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing Connect environments using native toolsets or 3rd party analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Creating detailed documentation for Connect configurations including call flows, architectures, integrations,

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $85,920 to $163,320 based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California:$94,440 to $195,840
Colorado: $85,920 to $163,320
New York City: $103,080 to $195,840
Washington: $94,440 to $179,400
Washington DC:$94,440 to $179,400
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
