As an Agile Coach - Business Agility Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers reach their full potential by developing process-driven solutions that drive measurable results. You will work closely with our customers to gain a deep understanding of their unique business needs, challenges, and opportunities. Armed with this knowledge, you will leverage your expertise in aligning processes to technology to design, develop, and deploy custom solutions that exceed their goals.

You will be responsible for analyzing our customers' current business processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for incremental improvement. With your strong analytical skills, you will recommend process changes, new technologies, or appropriate organizational changes that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.

In this role, you will also develop a large-scale strategic vision and ensure that all new business processes align with it. You will manage sales processes beyond day-to-day procurement to maintain strong customer relations and ensure that all stakeholders are on board with the recommended solutions.

Who You Are

Kyndryl is looking for leaders who are passionate about helping some of the world's biggest companies transform their IT. Often with Kyndryl this doesn't just mean the glamorous front-end bits, it includes the infrastructure and operations teams that keep it all running. These organizations were largely left behind in the last Agile revolution and now need your help to implement Business Agility (E2E), Scrum, Scrum of Scrums, and Kanban frameworks that are changing the way IT is run. Do you have the experience with agile and the passion for transformation that it takes to show them the way?

Kyndryl is making a big bet on Agile Transformations for the entire IT Organization. We are looking for skilled Agile Coaches and Leaders that can not only drive teams but change minds. We are looking for the following experience and certifications and will be interviewing for the passion and conviction!

Required Experience:

  • At least 7-10 years as an Agile Coach leading large organizations through the journey of transforming to new ways of working
  • Experience in variety of agile methodologies, including a deep expertise and experience in implementing scrum and Kanban in several domains and team sizes
  • Experience engaging with and coaching senior leadership, VP and above. Helping leadership formulate Vision, Business Case, Roadmaps, and lean budgeting
  • Experience with business development or solution creation; ability to influence decision-making and advocate for effective strategies
  • Demonstrated success in driving positive outcomes through persuasion or problem-solving
  • Experience leading/moderating meetings and workshops
  • Experience leveraging Agile Management Tools and leading remote teams.
  • Experience with a variety of retrospective techniques and comfort leading them remotely
  • Experience providing the status and showing the progress of agile teams
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal presentations
  • Interpreting requirements and creating solutions
  • Ability to teach/mentor individuals and teams that are new to agile
  • The patience to persuade team members who are skeptical of agile techniques
  • Experience selecting and building teams
  • Experience managing the budget of a consulting team

Preferred Experience:

  • Depth and breadth of experience creating POVs and thought leadership on all things Business Agility
  • Expert in creating slideware for Agile Playbooks and accelerators
  • Experience leading workshops with Mural or other remote whiteboarding tools
  • Extensive experience and deep working knowledge of IT Infrastructure, DevOps, and Cloud
  • Experience educating executives about the virtues of agile teams and how to interact with them.
  • SAFe Certification (Preferred)
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Other Agile Certifications
  • Experience administering agile tools like the Atlassian suite
  • Traditional Project Management Experience
  • Experience with various IT Operating Models and building organizations to deploy and support key technologies
  • Experience in Incremental/Agile Org Change Management (OCM)
  • DevOps and CI/CD tooling (particularly in the context of cloud or containers)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead individual agile teams or groups of teams
  • Conduct courses on agile processes or techniques
  • Lead/Facilitate workshops across a variety of subjects
  • Accountable for successful delivery of highly complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that deliver lasting and measurable value to clients
  • Develop a point of view, capture, prioritize and analyze team/organizational requirements
  • Possess strong leadership skills and further the evolution of intellectual capital assets and developing practice resources
  • Assemble and lead a team of consultants and architects with engagement management oversight
  • Manage the engagement contracts to terms and conditions
  • Educate, mentor and coach teams in applying consulting techniques
  • Facilitate and capture lessons learned from engagements to update methodologies and assets
  • Conduct consulting lunch and learns to disseminate knowledge
  • Support the creation and writing of RFPs and SOWs for potential clients
  • Lead the effort to expand Agile service offerings by creating capabilities and evangelizing offerings internally and to customers
  • Be a recognized though leader inside of Kyndryl and outside in the market

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $134,160 to $254,880 based on a full-time schedule.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California:$147,600 to $305,880

Colorado: $134,160 to $254,880

New York City: $161,040 to $305,880

Washington: $147,600 to $280,320

Washington DC:$147,600 to $280,320

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
