JOB DESCRIPTION
Champion and support Kroger Health locations and strategies by collaborating with key stakeholders to consistently execute company plans. Deliver on strategic targets through plan execution, progress analysis, and plan adjustment by collaborating with business owners, Health & Wellness (H&W) division leaders, and retail division stakeholders. Anticipate and respond to the needs of each H&W division leader. Collaborate with Kroger Health corporate teams on key initiatives. Own the development and maintenance of the region's academic and industry partnerships. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

- Collaborate with all divisions in the region in developing appropriate partnerships that advance professional practice and expand the scope of Kroger Health
- Oversee regional execution of residency, extern, and intern programs through partnership with corporate teams and local universities
- Support sales and customer service initiatives
- Support all corporate operational initiatives
- Support regulatory compliance of all pharmacy locations at the direction of the corporate compliance department
- Evaluate opportunities for new services/partnerships to determine scope, viability, level of effort, resource needs, contracting requirements, alignment to strategy, overall fit, etc.
- Provide mentoring/coaching to pharmacy practice coordinators
- Re-enforce company values and leadership model to create favorable business results, associate insights and customer experiences
- Identify trends for key performance indicators, labor metrics, and inventory control; work with regional analyst to implement plans to improve underperforming areas
- Participate in Corporate Academia Advisory Committee
- Ensure ASHP/APhA Residency standards are being met in division programs
- Ensure residency programs meet/exceed Kroger requirements for consistency, quality, and rigor
- Support/implement intern/extern standardization efforts and maintenance work
- Participate in health system strategic affiliations; drive relationship development when appropriate
- Support the integration of Kroger Health agendas, influence, and participation in associations, boards, and other work groups that direct the development, regulation, and legislation that affects pharmacy practice
- Travel to stores across the region as dictated by the needs of the business

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Other Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy
- 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy practice coordinator or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
- Active and in good standing Pharmacist License
- Strong critical thinking skills, high attention to detail, and ability to draw conclusions from a data set
- Ability to design, implement and manage programs that are aligned to strategic goals
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and peers
- Ability to gain alignment across multiple parts of the organization
- Proven ability to facilitate/translate strategic business requirements into strategic solutions
- Exceptional leadership/management skills and ability to motivate, develop and inspire a team while creating a highly empowered organization
Desired
- Any experience with different pharmacy volumes; experience driving clinical execution
- Any experience managing residency accreditation and projects
- Completion of a PGY1/PGY2 residency program
